Remarks Inhabits vegetated and brushy stream margins and pools of creeks and small to medium rivers, and rocky and vegetated margins of lakes. Most commonly found in clear, silt-free rocky streams. Feeds on small crustaceans, insects and fish (Ref. 30578).
