Remarks The species inhabits a narrow, shallow stream approximately 4.0 m wide, with depths varying from a few centimeters to 0.5 m. The stream has moderate flow, a substrate of gravel and rocks, and is bordered by well-preserved riparian vegetation characteristic of Deciduous Seasonal Forest physiognomy (Ref. 138403).
