Notas Found in turbid coastal waters, estuaries and mangrove creeks, and in mangrove-lined rivers (Ref. 57343). Occurs mainly over shallow muddy and sandy bottoms of the continental shelf. Euryhaline (Ref. 12743). Feeds on fish and benthic invertebrates (Ref. 11889).
