Notas Found in muddy or sandy waters of freshwater rivers and estuaries (Ref. 57343). Regularly enters freshwater streams during the spawning season, and probably at other times (Ref. 9685). Large numbers of adults and young caught during the rainy season in the Chao Phraya River and other rivers of that system. Feeds on crustaceans, small fishes, and benthic organisms (Ref. 57343).
