Remarks Inhabits coral reef along shore, lagoon, patch and pinnacle reefs, where it hides among soft corals and benthic algae (Refs. 649, 2334). Also found in coral rubble, sandy substrates, and on dead and some live coral (Ref. 649). This species is very secretive (Refs. 2334, 27362).
