This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: two pairs of maxillary barbels; dorsal fin rays iii, 9; pectoral fin rays v, 12; pelvic fin rays ii, 7; anal fin rays i, 6; lateral-line scales 69-75; and 6-7 indistinctly separated transversely oval blotches on the dorsal side (Ref. 138571). | |||
