| Biology: | Inhabit rivers. Adults feed on small stream invertebrates such as mayflies and stoneflies (Ref. 138145). Spawning occurs from July to September (Ref. 58147). Eggs are laid in saucer-shaped depressions beneath large cobbles or boulders in fast-flowing riffles (Ref. 138145). | |||
