Distribution:  South America: Brazil.
Diagnosis:  This differs from all its congeners, except M. agnesae, M. beninei, by having a sinuous humeral blotch, similar to a compressed letter Z; with distinct dark longitudinal stripes along the body sides; differs from agnesae and beninei by having the single humeral blotch and longitudinal stripes running through the center of the scales, which are more conspicuous dorsally (Ref. 138307).
