Max. size:  9.41 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal soft rays: 5-5. This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following set of characters: cheek scaled; 12 or 13 branched pectoral fin rays; 6-10 supraorbital canal pores; outer gill raker present on first gill arch; and 3+11-15 infraorbital canal pores (Ref. 138702).
