বিতরণ USA (Utah, Weber R.; Wyoming, Bear R., and northern Bonneville and upper Snake River basins).
উদ্ধৃতি It was formerly abundant as the largest of the mountain suckers in the Weber, Bear, and Upper Snake rivers, but it is rare or absent in most former habitats, and modern specimens are smaller in size, especially in introgressed populations. Populations of P. virescens in the Upper Snake River drainage morphologically introgressed into P. platyrhynchus. Thus, the small extant P. virescens populations present in the Weber and Bear rivers should be provided high conservation significance as they represent the only remaining non-introgressed populations of this dwindling species.
