| Quote | This species is restricted to South Africa (Heemstra & Heemstra, 2004). The only record from the Red Sea (Roux-Estève & Fourmanoir, 1955) was based on a misidentification, probably of Pomadasys stridens (Forsskål in Niebuhr, 1775). |
