Diagnosis

This species is distinguished by the following characters: last unbranched dorsal fin ray is flexible, simple, and not serrated along its posterior edge; barbels two pairs; circumpeduncular scales 10-11; lateral line scales 26-28; scales between the dorsal-fin base and the lateral-line 4-5; three black spots aligned on the flanks with a greyish black midlateral band eye diameter, 32.4%-34.6% HL (Ref. 132585).
