| Diagnosis |
This species is distinguished from its congeners, except P. nukak, P. tegatus, P. yari, by the possession of a posteriorly displaced humeral spot located between the fifth or sixth to the eighth or ninth rib counted from pseudotympanum and terminating almost in the vertical that passes through dorsal-fin origin; with a complete lateral line (vs. incomplete lateral line) (Ref. 132565). |
