This species is distinguished by the following characters: gill rakers at first gill arch 18; D III,11; pectoventral distance along the horizontal line between the verticals of the lower edge of the pectoral fin and the origin of the pelvic fin < 5% SL; body depth 25.4-26.4% SL; head length 37.5-40.2% SL; upper jaw length 55.6-59.5% HL; pectoral fin reaches the vertical line of middle of anal fin (Ref. 132586). |
