Taxonomic Remarks
This species has no dark band under eye, but a black fleck at the base of pectoral fin (Chen & Kottelat 2004), which is consistent with the species of Microdous, but not Sineleotris, thus, this may be a species of Microdous and more samples should be collected from Lao PRD and Vietnam to compare using both morphological characters and molecular data.
