	<dc:description>This species is distinguished by the following characters: body slender 17-20% SL; snout long 4-6% SL; pectoral-fin rays usually 16; a cephalic sensory-canal pore pattern lacking only the IT pore; unbranched pectoral-fin rays; dorsal/anal-fin formula 9/8; fifth pelvic-fin ray 0–16% of the 4th ray. Colouration: a dark triangular spot on area of preural centrum followed by a narrow dark vertical line over end of hypural plate, the caudal fin crossed by six dark vertical bars and long naris is black (Ref. 126577).</dc:description>
