	<dc:description>This species is distinguished by having the following characters: gill rakers on first gill arch 19-24; with main shaft of the first anal-fin proximal radial strongly arched; anterior process of the first anal-fin proximal radial elongated, about half length of the main shaft; pyloric caeca completely absent or numbering 46-71; spinoid scales with spines arranged in vertical rows; D 26-28 (rarely 22); postero-ventral edge of preopercle rounded; mature specimens with pigmentation of anal, dorsal and caudal fins inconspicuous, lacking a markedly darker margin (Ref. 130894).</dc:description>
