Colouration: body with seven bright yellow bars, pale whitish in preserved specimens, two lunder the first dorsal-fin base, remainder under second dorsal-fin (from origin) and on caudal peduncle; dorsal fins are pale brown with bright yellow barred pattern; first dorsalfin without broad black margin; pectoral fin is bright yellow; three bright yellow vertical bars on the upper part of caudal fin; no distinct black spot at the centre of caudal-fin base (Ref. 129320).
