Etymology: Conocara: Latin, conicus = cone + Greek, kara = face (Ref. 45335).
Eponymy: Directeur G Werner was described as the “donor of a projected Swedish expedition to explore the ocean depths” (translation). No further information is available, and we have not been able to identify him further. (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
