Body shape (shape guide): eel-like.
Found in rock crevices or caves. Probably reaching 17-18 cm SL. Males mature at about 15 cm SL. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205).
