Zenarchopteridae (Internally fertilized halfbeaks)
Etymology: Nomorhamphus: Greek, nema = filament + Greek, rhamphos = bill, peak (Ref. 45335); liemi: Named after Liem Bian Beek or B. B. Liem, who later changed his name to Richardus 'Dick' Digdo Yuwono (Frank Yuwono, aka Liem Tjong Hoo, Melbourne, Asutralia, pers.comm. 11/2025).
Eponymy: Dr Dig Liem was, according to the description, a long-time friend of the author in Indonesia and we presume him to be an aquarist and collector. (We cannot discount the possibility that ‘Dig’ is a nickname for Dr K F Liem [below]). (Ref. 128868), visit book page.
