Adults inhabit sandy and rocky runs and flowing pools of creeks and small to medium rivers (Ref. 86798). They feedson insects taken in midwater areas and from the surface (Ref. 10294). Oviparous (Ref. 205), probably open substratum spawners like congeners. Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106).
