Body shape (shape guide): elongated.
Adults inhabit salt marshes. 4 cm max TL (Ref. 7251). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). Omnivorous and feed on detritus, diatoms and a variety of small crustaceans, insects and worms (Ref. 93252).
