Chiavi di identificazione | Morfologia | Morfometria
Spine dorsali (totale) : 10; Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 14; Spine anali: 1; Raggi anali molli: 7. This species is distinguished by the following characters: with a black stripe that runs from eye to base of caudal fin, interrupted by white iridescent lines on head and broken on rear body and caudal peduncle into three discrete black spots centered just above lateral line; lower half of head and body pale (Ref. 118648).
Body shape (shape guide): fusiform / normal.
This species is common in the shallow waters of the bay (Ref. 118648). The conservation threats to this are related to climate-associated changes as well as coral-reef degradation and pollution due to the close proximity of their habitat to well-populated coastal areas (Ref. 137920).
