Wervels: 104 - 107. This species is distinguished by the following characters: total vertebrae 104-107, preanal vertebrae 48-49; predorsal vertebrae 42-45; larvae with a sharp intestinal loop; presence of the posterior lateral melanophore and anterior ventral melanophore (Ref. 133039).
