Etymology: Spectrunculus: Latin, spectrum = apparition (Ref. 45335); stenostio: Name 'stenostio' from the Greek word 'stenos' and 'ostium', meaning 'narrow' and 'otolith', in reference to the narrow otolith structure of the new species.
