with magnification; pelvic fins totally separate; D 1 short and rounded, brown inframarginal stripe terminating into a prominent black spot, no elongate spines; D2 with single dusky stripe mesially; dorsal fins not connected by membrane; Dl with 9'-11 spines; longitudinal scale count 52-70; head width 14.2-19.3% SL; pelvic fin length 11.7-15.1 % SL; length of anal fin base 17.8-21.1% SL; length ofD2 base 18.8-21.3% SL; total D2 elements 12-13; total anal fin elements 11-12; TRDB 14-20 (Ref. 5218).
