背面の脊椎 (合計) : 0; 背鰭 (合計) : 5 - 7; 肛門の骨: 0; 臀鰭: 10 - 12; 脊つい: 26 - 27. Diagnosis: Small and slender species with rounded fins; dorsal fin with 5-7 rays, anal fin with 10-12 rays; scales on mid-lateral series 25-28 (Ref. 28714, 57259).
Body shape (shape guide): fusiform / normal.
Found in pools, swamps, shallow waters and drainage ditches (Ref. 3788, 57259). Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139).
